I visit the publisher's clearing house site because i love to play mojhong. The site shows ads while you play. I saw an ad for free samples. I ordered a free sample of l'envie - pay for shipping only. The following month i get a bill for $195.45 Total for the two sample products). I called them. They have cancelled the order but i do not know yet if they are going to try to pull the pending funds from my bank. I called the bank, and have to wait until they pull the funds to do anything - but i still can't use that money for what i need it for.
I have an email conversation going with pch, who hosted the ad to get a copy of or at least a link to this ad as i can't find it now and am having no luck so far. They just keep babbling about 3rd party. I told them i know that, but they hosteda fraudulent ad and i want the info on whose ad it was for legal purposes. My last reply to them was that i need to know whose ad that was and if they aren't "authorized" to help me then get the email to someone who can.
My next step is to go to the ag.
The ad did not have any "terms or conditions" listed. I don't even know if i was on the company's actual website - there was no indication of any further strings on this free offer. I am livid. I spent years in cognitive linguistics classes in college and know the difference between "free trial" and "free sample" and would not have ordered a free trial, which they claim i did. I did not. I ordered a free sample and my invoice shows that there was no charge for this sample.
