Kwik Kar in Roanoke put a dent in my car door as they attempted to replace the window regulator. On May 31, 2014, Kwik Kar attempted to replace the window regulator on the driver's side of my VW Beetle.
They had given me a quote of $408.00. Carlos, the mechanic in charge of the repair ordered the wrong part. When I came to pick up the car, he told me about the error and that he would put everything back in place, pull the window up and keep it from going down while he orders the correct part. In doing so, he poked a dent in the car door (from the inside out).
I went back the following week (the new part had arrived) and asked him to fix the dent. Carlos got really upset and said I had to come back on Monday to see his manager, but that we would not replace the faulty regulator anylonger.
So now I have a car with an unoperational window AND a dent in the car door. My car was spotless and dent-free until now.
