I had a horrible experience here. I would not come back and I would not recommend their services to anybody.
I asked for the Brazilian Keratin Treatment for straightening. I have gotten this treatment in the past so I know what the process and results should be like. I'm not sure what they did to my hair but it wasn't the treatment I expected and came in for.
One red flag - after the treatment was put in and my hair was straightened, the girl doing my hair asked if I would like to have it washed out there or if I would like to do it at home. I asked several follow up questions that she did not understand and/or ignored entirely. Usually this treatment is left in for 1-3 days.
Then, the nightmarish haircut. I asked for long layers but my stylist refused to cut it this way and only gave me a trim, which I am very unhappy with.
He said that long layers would not suit my curly hair - this made me stop dead in my tracks. I just got my hair semi-permanently straightened, DIDN'T I?!! Apparently not. He said that when I washed out the treatment my hair would be curly again and that his straightening would only last for ONE DAY. What did I just pay $100 for then? A bad blowout and an awful haircut?
Avoid this place and avoid the headache. The money I saved by choosing this place over other salons was not at all worth my entire day being ruined.
Sure enough, my hair is not at all straightened, relaxed or de-frizzed. I don't know what they put in my hair but it was not brazilian keratin treatment. I was scammed out of over $100. This place should be shut down for their bad business practices, poor customer service and lack of any skill in hair styling and treatment. Zero regard for customer satisfaction and results.
I called in about the issue and I asked for a refund. I was told to come in so that they could see my hair in person and settle this. The owner, Leo Jin, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I tried to speak calmly with him but he was argumentative, defensive and he refused to make it up to me in any way. Instead, he encouraged me to sue his business and contact the company that manufactures the treatment.
I understand that no refunds are issued but there was no reason for them to ask me to come back to the salon, only to argue with me and harass me. My money was STOLEN by this place.
