I purchased this vanity for $1700 and received it with numerous defects.
a) Left side of vanity not completely painted
b) Right side of vanity not completely painted
c) Drawer face on 3 drawers not sufficiently glued to drawer box ( large gaps and/or cracks)
d) Marble trim pieces (under main counter) glued in a manner that creates a rough and uneven seam line
The manufacturer was unwilling to acknowledge the defects and I was charged $477 for return shipping/insurance.
I provided numerous pictures to illustrate the problems and upon physical inspection by them, they stated:
""Your return was received and inspected thoroughly. The item was returned in excellent condition and was found to be free of defects:
- Both sides of the vanity were painted completely.
- All drawer faces were fine; they were inspected and confirmed to be consistent with the drawer faces on all the vanities we carry.
- Marbletop was found to be free of defects - Yes, it is two pieces glued together to create the double-thick edge (this is not a defect).""
Their return policy says ""We take great pride in 100% customer satisfaction."" and the warrantee says ""One year manufacturer's defect warranty."". It appears that these are just words that won't be backed up by actions.
The vanity's are imported Chinese products with suspect quality control. The companies website states: ""All of our merchandise passes through multiple quality control checkpoints to ensure customer satisfaction every single time."" (Ref. kitchenbathcollection.com/content/4-about-us). There appears to be a disconnect from their 'Mission' and their actual service delivery.
