I received my "premium" 60" double vanity in early May 2014. The packaging appeared intact and took 3 people approx. 20 minutes to unwrap. Upon close inspection the pain had flaws and fine cracks in numerous places. We installed the sink within days and noticed that one sink would not hold water due to a small, barely noticeable malformed drain hole.
Upon contacting the company, they informed me it must have been an installation error--obviously not the case. Kimberly, the contact person from the company, informed me I could use clear silicone caulking and caulk around the drain to attempt to seal it. She also stated, after forwarding numerous pictures, that the cracks in the paint were very small and a result of hand painting.
After much discussion and getting nowhere, I left a negative review on the website. within a day or two I was contacted by Kimberly and we were able to settle on a $200 discount in regard to the drain If I would agree to change my review.
She also offered to send me touch up paint free of charge if I'd like. I stated that yes, that would be appreciated. I changed my review as promised. I never received the touch up paint.
three months later, the paint on the vanity started to flake off in approx. 1 inch pieces. I notified Kimberly, and sent numerous pictures as requested. She responded by stating the company reimbursed me $200 to accept the vanity "as is." I informed her that that was not the agreement, that I agreed to live with the drain defect and change my review for the noted discount, not to void the warranty.
she then informed me that the factory stated that our bathroom does not have adequate ventilation and/or the vanity sustained overuse. she further stated that my 30 day return period has passed and so she could not assist me any further. I informed her that I was very frustrated and disappointed with them and that I would be contacting my attorney.
