I needed a new vehicle quickly. My daughter was going to have surgery (not major, but it's my girl, all is major to me) and my car wasn't well.
Because I hate car dealings....I first searched online. I corresponded to the dealers that had something I wanted. When someone said they could help me I went in 15 min before closing on a wednesday, drove the vehicle and said I wanted it if they could get me financing.
The next night I went in and made the purchase. Yes, it's my fault I missed it. But I had my daughter's surgery the next day on my mind as well as the fact I just hate buying cars. They got me financing allright, almost 2x what I said I needed, but again, I was in a tight spot.
A week or less later I noticed they had made an error on the purchase price of the car on the paperwork. I was overcharged $700. I also didn't realize I was charged hundreds for paperwork processing but realized I didn't have any chance of getting that back. I truly thought they had made an error and that they would correct it.
I can't imagine what it will cost me with that financing.
When I asked them to correct it, I was told they don't rip people off and that it was still a good deal.
I replied that wasn't the point. I was buying a car for $12,300 and they charged me $13,000.
They've failed to make it right and I've been writting everyone from the owner to the city mayor to the govenor & senator of NH.
Nobody cares people are getting ripped off.
I can't afford this...hell, I haven't had a hot water heater since november. Money is beyond tight for me.
