This entry may sound like one of those cheesy TV shows, where they prey on the elderly, but it's true. My mom ordered this on the free trial. Subsequently she went into the hospital, and has been shuttled between hospitals and the nursing home since. 3 orders later and multiple, no longer free shipments, I found out she had a stockpile of unopened mail.
I called to get a credit and return the un-opened product (all of it).... and they basically told me no. They'll return the one that was sent out after I called the last time to ask them to stop, but not the ones before that they promised. I shut off the debit card because they hadn't stopped, and they shipped, and are threatening collections....against my mom in the nursing home?????/ Really When I called them for the returns, they ended up telling me to open them to find the "free return" labels.
oops, they suddenly realized they forgot to enclose, so now I'll have to pay for shipping. Really. Her checks have bounced, and other things like food and medicine she couldn't get because of this.
Oh, and by the way...... when I finally got past the representative who offered to settle for the "employee rate....only if I pay today"..... and talked to a Supervisor..... I explained the situation, she re-iterated the employee rate option, and then I told her that she can't get blood from a stone and that my mother was unable to pay for medications and other essential items........click Really? The old “we accidentally got disconnected” trick?
These guys are using he classic tactics of all the companies that prey on the elderly or low self-esteemed people that will avoid calling in to stop, and if/when they do, they'll bully them into settling (because they care) for 1/2 price...in this case employee discount. Really? The internet is innocuous, and anyone can write anything, but I'm sure the BBB and PA Attorney General will be interested in the predatory nature of their business practices.
Apparently they’re in Hoboken, but their Fulfillment Center is in PA.
In the third week of March my wife asked if we could order a free trial of product offered in a TV ad sponsored by Keranique LLC. The ad stated clearly that my wife would recieve one month's product and could cancel the product within 2 weeks. I called the company in 1.5 weeks and told them to cancel all of the product.
They send more product that we didn't order. I phoned the company and made clear that we wanted no more product and we wanted a refund of the $78.95 that we were billed. After getting into an argument with the sales representitive about what the word "free" meant I hung up.
DO NOT use this product or fall for the garbage on their TV ad. The results aren't apparent and they are promoting false results in order to dupe people out of their money, and don't even have the decency to refund as per their own verbal contract.
