When we were selling our home, Mr Coxwell was recommended to us by another agent. At the first meeting we were impressed Mr Coxwell selling accomplishments We were told what his plan was for selling our home. After the experience we had I wished we never had.
At first we were told that a for sale sign would be put at our house with a "Comong soon" at the bottom. We waited several weeks for that to happen. My wife had to leave a voice mail, asking where the sign was. In less than an hour he showed up and put one up with an excuse why it wasnt put up sooner.
When the house was put on the market, an open house was scheduled. Prior to the open house I rescieved a call about a showing and I agreed. I found out later that he got in trouble about this and I was to blame. We were never told anything about what to do about anything. My wife noticed that the MLS listing was incorrect and notified Mr Coxwell about the error. That error was never corrected and could have put the sale in trouble. We have pets and I asked him to keep all the doors closed to keep them in. I came home early and found the front door open and had to close it myself. After that I had to tell each realator showing the house to keep the doors closed.
There was a lot of mistakes made on both parties, but Mr Coxwell never took reponsibily for his. At times he agreed with the wrong information we were talking about.
As the closing got closer, Mr Coxwell ask for some information from me, I told him how to find it. He balked at my instructions and I ended up getting it for him(It took a total of 10 seconds to find.) I found out later that he called my wife and told her I was acting like a jerk and he would never work with me again.
Mr Coxwell acted in a very unprofessional manner. After that comment to my wife, I never heard from him again.He worked wtih my wife not me. He waited till the last minute to get reciepts for the wood rot and electrical work, even though he was told that the work was done a month earlier.
