I had used JWT Contracting, Omaha, NE (Tim Trimble) for several jobs prior to this with good results.
On October 24, 2011 he collected $800 as a deposit to install a new patio door. He said it would take a couple weeks to get the door back (special order). I waited a few weeks and called him back only to find that his phone has been shut off and he is nowhere to be found. I called the door supplier that he said he was ordering the door through and they said that it was never ordered.

I hate to leave a review like this, but I really want to warn anyone thinking about working with this company. I recently hired them to do a variety of odd jobs - drywall in the basement, sink and toilet repairs, light fixture installation, etc. Not only did they damage my carpet, furniture, walls and furnace in the process (necessitating numerous, extensive repairs and cleaning), but as I was cleaning up the mess left behind, I discovered many Coors Light and Mike's Hard Lemonade cans in our basement! To top it off, we discovered our front entry rug (which Jim used during the construction, a problem in itself) is missing, as well as extra materials we paid for out of pocket. Despite promising to make things right, they now refuse to respond, probably because they have been paid. I've had to file a police report, and am left distraught about the entire thing. Please do not use this company!
