Justine Yorkies Reviews

  • Jun 19, 2015

I planned on purchasing a teacup yorkie puppy from JustineYorkies.com after initially viewing several puppies for sale for an extremely reasonable price of $500 with free shipping. That is very unusual since shipping is usually an addition charge of $200 to $300.

I requested information on one female and two male puppies and was sent, via email, short movies of all three, which was very nice. Although the email was filled with mispellings, I felt it wrong to judge them on their ability to spell and continue on with my communications.

Upon review of the movies, I decided to purchase the female named Mel and advised of that in the reply to the email, after having also placed a call to the number on the website and in the email for follow-up instruction on completing the purchase and asking more questions.

No return call was made but a Pro forma invoice was sent requesting payment of the $500 by Western Union Money-gram, and was for a male puppy name Max. I tried calling again, to a phone that only answers with an anonymous voice, not a business phone, so I sent a reply to the email expressing my concern about the erroneous invoice and the fact the website allowed credit card payment and expressing my desire to pay via that route. I also mentioned that I again attempted to reach them by phone and was becoming frustrated.

My next email arrived with the correct puppy on it with the instruction to follow "Option 2" in the "How to Pay" section of the Invoice. There is no "How to Pay" section on the Invoice, nor an "Option 2"! I also noted that the Invoice was signed by one person, yet the payment was to be made out to another person, neither of which was the name of the "Justine" of the so-called named company owner who expounds the company philosophy on the website.

I proceeded to bring this to the attention of the "whomever" on my reply to their last email, and I guess I have hit too close to home, and have not heard from them again, which would leave me to believe that they would rather not do any more business with me because I ask too many questions.

Almost every website I've looked at to purchase "teacup" varieties of puppies are asking $1500 to $4000 so I guess I'm not surprised to find that this could be a potential scam of some sort. To say I'm dissapointed is an understatement, but only goes to prove, if it's too good to be true, it is!!!!!!
