I was friends with Thania online for a longgg time and I mean long. I ran a semi - popular blog for several years that she really liked and we became blogging friends. Thania essentially copied my entire blog to make her own - www.juicydailybeauty.com (used to be www.juicydaily.com) but that's whatever. I can overlook inspiration and I'll be the first to admit that it's a bit flattering that she looked up to me.
Here's where things start to get sketchy:
I noticed Thania has stolen several of my images and used them on her blog. These photos were nothing special and just really basic pictures of cosmetics because I ran a beauty and product review blog but stealing is stealing and she copied my blog to begin with. I let that slide but I couldn't let the theft of my photos slide.
I asked her to remove my pictures. Very nicely too. I wasn't rude or anything! Thania sent back a very rude email:
"I'm not going to remove any pictures from my blog. If I used anything of yours, oh well, that's how it works when you post photos on the internet for anyone to see. If you didn't want people to use your photos you shouldn't have put them online. You're being a huge b**** so don't email me anymore. k? Thanks."
Her reply was simply unacceptable and uncalled for. I reported this to her host with a DMCA notice and her website was suspended a day later. When she came back online she wasn't happy that her site got suspended and sent me another nasty email:
"You know what? You're such a b****. Who the hell do you think you are to report me for theft? I used to like your blog but now I see you're like all the other b*****, s***** beauty bloggers on the internet. You're obviously jealous of me or you wouldn't harass me like this for no reason."
One thing about Thania you need to know: If you call her out for the rotten shit she does she'll say you're jealous of her. She thinks everyone is jealous of her but really I doubt anyone is. For real though... She looks like the little orange guys in the Willy Wonka movies and all the makeup she wears every day has given her forehead wrinkles. Her whole life revolves around getting validation from strangers on the internet, so like I said there's no reason why anyone would be jealous of her ever.
A girl emailed me about how she ordered from Thania's "shop" called 'Sugar Bling' several months ago and never received her product. When she complained Thania accused her of harassment and said she's just jealous. As usual! Thania never refunded her money either.
