I should have went with my first instinct/impression of this guy and never had anything to do with him then but I didn't. I even googled his name and in the face of a mountain of red flags on the internet about him, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt because he seemed cool and most of the stuff out there was from years back and people can change and I thought I would give him a chance. BIG mistake on my part.
I started out as a friend and he kept going on about how he had all this work he couldn't do cause he was so busy and wanted me to goto work for him and I finally said ok what do you have and in the mean time he learned that I used to install car stereos and have extensive knowledge in electronics and computers in general. (I have a degree in computer/electrical engineering) and to start my work off with him he wanted me to do a custom car stereo install in his truck.
This is where I should have ran but instead I performed the install in which I put in 40 hours at $25p/hr and that is being forgiving on the time, since there was a lot of travel time etc that I didn't include. This put his bill at $750 that he owes me. I built a custom box for his particular truck that had many changes/restraints that he would impose along the way making it much more difficult to install etc. And he wanted it done yesterday, so I hammered out some long days and got it done.
Then came the stories as to when I was gonna get paid and suddenly he was very broke, and since I had the truck apart he couldn't get any work done etc. etc. Then he asked if he could give me 2 car stereo amplifiers in lieu of the cash. I said sure what are they and when can I get them. He set a date which was about a week from the finish of the install and I said that's fine. Then that day came and that's when the real fun began with him coming up with more excuses and run arounds and run arounds for the next 4 days.
After a long night, day and night of chasing him around I had finally had it and I wasn't very nice to his msg machine since that's all I could get a hold of and/or txt him since he wouldn't answer and would turn his phone off and when I did get a hold of him he had then moved to the position of I assume not paying me since I wasn't very nice with the messages I had left him. And then he started threatening me etc. Which from other people's experiences none of this is anything new.
He starts out nice and promises the world with a bunch of lies and ends with not paying and/or ripping you off or not paying and also starts making threats that he has people looking for you and that he has contacted various angencies that don't make any sense as to why one would contact these agencies and personal threats to your well being.
Can't express how much of a LIAR and FRAUD and RIPPOFF this guy is.....beware if you are a customer or employee or friend, he will lie, lie and lie some more to get what he needs done and promises to ""hook u up"" with more work etc will be in abundance. BEWARE!
I think Scott was pretty damn generous in the way he described you Joe. Liar. fraud. Criminal. Felon. Thief. Stalker. You've burned over 3 of our best friends. You even tried to not only get my wife to sleep with you..but my brother. And that Cl couple you tried to fuck but got rejected so you blackmailed them? They are good people. Can you blame them by being repulsed by how slimy you are? Damn dude. Mental illness wouldn't even explain the depths of lowness you wallow in. Btw, you don't have a chance in hell with my wife or brother. Lol. Scott dude...sorry you got caught up in his scams. I've been dealing with him for years. He has no limits to how vile he is. Don't worry though. He's a big pussy. He threatens people but then changes his name and hides. Kinda has to though. He has a wicked list of enemies. Karma is in his future.
