Jose Marti Continues to Falsify Delivery Status Data
I have repeatedly caught the Jose Marti Branch in the act of falsifying delivery status by posting on-line updates stating that they attempted to make a delivery and that a notice was left. Excuse me, but will someone please explain how a delivery can be made or a notice left when the carrier doesn't even turn up the entire day? This has happened on numerous occasions in our neighborhood and I keep filing reports with the USPS, yet nothing ever gets done about it. I've spoken to a few of the Managers at that Branch ... it's a waste of effort ... all I've gotten are empty promises that they're doing something to remedy the situation! Well ... I've got two packages that were "out for delivery" today, 8/28/17, that never turned up because the carrier didn't turn up ... yet, they had the blatant audacity to post a complete lie on-line! Aren't there laws protecting Miami's citizens from fraud and deception? Guess not ... because this nonsense keeps occurring ... but I will keep posting complaints until others speak up and help me make a difference! Nothing changes unless one is willing to speak out. I'm sure my neighbors didn't receive their mail today either! Haven't you all had quite enough of the malarkey? I, for one, sure have!
Not one, not two but THREE packages in a row have been "delivered" to my "mailbox" at my apartment building and NOT ONE was in my mailbox! I live in an apartment complex and it takes a key to open my mailbox and put mail or packages inside. When I called the Jose Marti USPS responsible for my deliveries they told me that it was "scanned and delivered INSIDE my mailbox" and there was nothing I could do about it. These packages WERE NOT delivered! They told me they trusted their drivers! I told them, doesnt it raise some eyebrows that THREE packages were marked delivered and I have not received any of them? And they refused to refund me. They refused to look into it. And basically told me sorry, you have to eat the $300 cost of the 3 items because our driver said it was delievered. SOOOO basically, any USPS driver can scan your package and CLAIM it was delivered and take your package home with them!!
