Mr. Ferreira listed his home in Tamarac for rent on Realtor.Com. I contacted him regarding this rental. He was very nice and explained that he was now located in Brooklyn, New York due to work. I fill out a rental application and was approved after speaking with Jose and his wife. I then sent first, last, security and a pet deposit to Mr. Ferreia with the expectation that upon receipt of the moeny he would overnight mail me the keys to the property. Mr. Ferreira has not yet sent the keys and is now giving me the run around about his attorney wanting to rent to someone else. I will be filing a police report today and contacting an attorney to try to get my money back as he is now not responding to phone calls or emails.
