This company recently moved my 1 bedroom apt. Overpriced. They send "3 guys" the day of the move. In actuality 1 guy shows up (driver) with 2 kids (18-20 in appearance) that didnt even weight 120 pounds each
Well, needless to say, they reaked havock on my furniture. hey i can understand accidents happen. I was assured my furniture was "insured". Yeah right!
call: your guys damaged my furniture. See the attached pictures in your email.
Reply: it happens from time to time. blah blah blah
week later: i can't find the claim on my email. how will i get it?
Reply: we will ship it to you.
week later: i havent gotten the form yet
Reply: we will re-ship it.
week later: no form yet.
Reply: where do you want us to ship it? (I'm thinking this dude moved me to my new address and he's asking me what's my address? WTF?). But i kindly replied with my address.
week later: this form needs to be notarized? you have to be kidding me.
Reply: Have your bank notarize it and start calling repair people.
(my thought: WTF?? this dude didnt just dump this form on me and expects me to waste my time taking repair people to my bank or notaries around the city to notarize a repair quote. He can't be serious!!!)
day later: who pays up front for the damages?
Reply: NONE
day later: i got a quote and i cannot afford hundreds of dollars of repair up front. Any problems you paying this amount directly to repair people?
Reply: nasty reply blowing me off.
Conclusion: any damages to your furniture, they will dump a form you need to waste your time and money notarizing multiple repair quotes and the form does not even guarantee you will get your money back as the form is not a contract. the form is really a deterrent for any claims because it asks unreasonable things from the customer. take your chances moving with this company and you will be sorry.
