Sold Me a Defective Watch! I ordered my 50th birthday present. My 4th Movado Watch that I have owned. I know that they have 2 years of warrenty but I still have mine that I recieved at my highschool Graduation from my father. they last! I put the watch on and I was watching TV, and it litterally fell off my wrist. Missing a piece that connets the band to the watch. I followed the entire return procedure which was very difficult. Filling out forms, waiting 4 days to recieve the return infomation. I called 4 times and was on hold for over 20 minutes each time. They finally sent the email with the return information. I filled out, The watch was exactly how I recieved it (but broken). All the tags, receipts etc were included.
Since then I have emailed and called them over 20 times. I finally reached a Manager who told me that it looked like it had been worn and can't be returned. They have a "secret" tag that shows being worn. I explained how long I had worn it and the Joma Shop "Guarentee" Policy, as well as the Movado two year guarentee. He kept repeating that it had been worn and can't be returned even within the 30 day Guarentee. The watch clearly was defective and not a Real Movado. Joma Shop is a Scam, selling defective merchandise and denying their policy. I see 100's of other complaints on line. This company should be shut down so no one else looses thousand's of dollars and aggrevation. Someone should do something about this company.
I have filed a complaint with my Credit Card company but they told me they will fight it. This has been the worst Sales experience I have ever had! Lost time, and MONEY!
