Steer Clear off John Curry Inc ( JCI Transportation). My experience. Filled out an app on a Tuesday, went in for a Interview on Friday. Not impressed. The place was a dump. Not impressed by the people I met either. Go back on Monday for "ORIENTATION". Not sure why, as I didn't have a good feeling about the company. Had to fill out alot of paperwork and watch those rediculous videos (stuff for newbies, not an EXPERIENCED driver). As I'm filling out paperwork I hear all kinds of yelling and carrying on in the office, next thing I know a door SLAMS and a miserable looking woman storms through the room. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! A few minutes later a woman comes in and says that I will be going out with a trainer for a few days. Ummm NO, I WON'T! What a joke. Who ever heard of an EXPERIENCED driver going out with a trainer! WHAT A JOKE! So then they tell me well they would put me in a hotel room, after I told them I wasn't sleeping in the truck with the "NICE BLACK GUY", that's what (Tina) office person said. LOL! Then they tell me they wanted me to meet the guy "Trainer?" at midnight the next night so we could start our day?? NO, I don't think so. LOL! I did not care for the owner from the get go, as I am a good judge of character. And when someone tells me that trucks in their "OPINION" do NOT NEED to go faster than 64 miles an hour. YOU have IDIOT written on your forhead! Couldn't care less about "YOUR OPINION" as you are CLUELESS! No doubt John Curry is Rolling Over! No decent person would want anything to do with this company!
