On November 17, 2014 I came across an Ebay listing/selling for a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria with Taxi package from Jersey Motors South. The car was offered at no reserve and this is not my first time purchasing cars from Ebay, so I decided to wait the auction out and see how it was looking on the last day. The auction ended November 19, 2014 at 12:26 P.M. The car was at $2500 starting bid so I placed it and was the winner at that bid price. Not even a half hour later I was contacted by Jersey Motors and notified that my auction was being canceled because they did not have a title for the vehicle. In the listing it clearly stated that the title check was ok. I then asked why was the car listed if the title was in question and was told that the car was on consignment, and if the dealer could not retrieve the title they would have to forfeit the car back to the owner.
