I had a really bad experience with the realtor Jenny Palmieri from Moreland Properties. I was looking for a investment property in the Westlake/Lake Travis area where I could temporarily stay as well. I emailed Jenny initially asking her if she was interested in working with me and she agreed and asked me to come to office to speak further about this. I wrote her a detailed email explaining to Jenny the criteria I was seeking from the property and explaining to her that I am from Houston and am on a time constraint in Austin to look at houses. Instead of providing decent customer service and offering to speak further on the phone, she insisted that I come to her office. I told Jenny Palmieri that I was on a time constraint and would like for her to email me the listings that she recommends and that I would like to shortlist them and then meet her for showings. Yet again, she insisted that I come to her office to discuss properties with her. In the emails she also mentioned getting paperwork signed and was focused on getting commission from the seller than showing much interest in finding what I sought. Just ridiculously rude, disrespectful in the way Jenny handled things from the get-go!
I was not excited about this idea, but decided to visit her with a friend who has lived in Austin. When I came to Jenny Palmieri's office, she didn't even have the courtesy to introduce hierself or let us introduce ourselves. She dived into a property and began talking about it. Jenny also talked about the enormous time and effort she spends doing her exhaustive research. (Give me a break, Jenny!!) The first I noticed in the house is it was a multi-story property, which I had explained in the email very clearly that I wasn't interested in. I had asked her to find only RANCH style houses. This clearly illustrated she hadn't done her research but rather a quick search in MLS system without even read through my requirements properly.
Displeased, I asked Jenny to search through the MLS system again with my criteria. Jenny did it and ZERO results came up. This entire exercise was a waste of time. I flew into Austin from Houston to meet with this lady and she killed my plans for the weekend. So I just decided to relax my constraints for the house and do a broader search. While we were discussing those houses, she started bragging about how expensive her house is and the are she lives in. My friend, who has lived in the Austin for 20+ years of his life promptly stopped Jenny by telling her that she was exaggerating about the average property value in that area. Upon having been corrected when telling a shameless lie, Jenny Palmieri asks us to leave her office. Can you imagine this? Really, Jenny?!!
From my experience I would like warn you about this realtor agent who works with Moreland Properties as JENNY PALMIERI. She will not work in the best interest on the buyer or seller. Jenny is more focused on getting her commission and talking down to the customer. If you are looking for even a decent level of service and having your time utilized effectively, DO NOT go to JENNY PALMIERI WITH MORELAND PROPERTIES IN AUSTIN, TEXAS. I can't comment on other realtors from this Moreland Properties but my friend says Eric Moreland is a BOZO as well. Go figure!
But if the other realtors remotely resemble this individual, I would be wary of ALL of them!!!
