These people make a living out of not paying thier bills. They lived in my home for 8 months and paid rent once! I was promised that I would be caught up if I didn't evict them when they got the money they were waiting for from a lawsuit they filed. Even had thier lawyer contact me to make it sound legit. I didn't want to put the children on the street so I agreed. Once she got her money which was hundreds of thousands they moved out and moved to Florida. They not only didn't pay me back rent they totally destroyed my home. Left it disgustingly filthy, tons of garbage, beer bottles and cigarette butts everywhere, vomit in sinks, junk junk and more junk. The filth and smell were overwhelming. Then she had the nerve to threaten to have me arrested for harassment if I contacted her. They also ran up a $550 utility bill and stuck me with that as well. I have lost my home because of them and non payment. I could not afford to keep up two home payments. I have taken a hell of a hit on my credit as well. I have since found out that this is normal for them to not pay thier bills and rip people off. I have won a lawsuit against them for $12,000 here in NYS but because the fees associated with all the filings and I have not been able to afford to file in Florida as well so they have gotten away with it. These people have cost me to loose over $80,000 and I am a disabled single mom of 5 children. I don't want anymore people to be taken advantage of by these people. I have pictures of the house to prove what they did to it, court documents to prove my case. Everything I have said is the truth and I can back it up! This is all true to the best of my knowledge!
I don't know how people can live with themselves when they do this to good people. And, to make it worse they have the money to pay me so I wouldn't have lost my home. And they knew this was going to happen to me.
If you have financial dealings with these people you had better run and run fast or get cash up front. And if you rent to them better check your home weekly or it will probably end up like mine.
