Jana public relations calls itself a pr agency but it is the furthest thing from it. Her "office" consists of her bedroom with a yapping dog and bring-your-own computer type situation. She has no idea how to pitch clients and expects interns to do all her dirty work and figure it out. Us interns have taken her clients due to her lack of effort, real work and results. She is consistently seen watching youtube videos, bingeing, and lazily taking retainers from clients on false pretenses and lies. Do yourself a favor and do not hire jana public relations to represent you- she will take your money and ruin your reputation.

I am reporting Jana Glowatz, owner of JANA Public Relations, who formerly worked with my agency and did absolutely nothing to service the clients' PR needs. Her current company, JANA Public Relations is not really a business at all, as JANA has no experience or expertise in running a firm and works alone out of her small apartment. Jana had serious pill problems and mental deficiencies, offering her medications to other employees at the firm and taking strange products to help shed weight. While working under my agency, she was completely hostile, angry and ill-mannered towards the clients, while also promising to land them top notch placements, when what she was really doing was watching YouTube videos and movies on her iPad and instagramming all day. Her "press releases" were cut and paste from the client's website and she had multiple spelling errors in both the subject line and body of the release. Her work was sloppy, unprofessional and she lacked drive or charisma to get the job done. After a few months at my agency, I caught on to her antics and found she was of no value to my company or to my clientele. Please stay away from her "company" and her work as it will tarnish your brand name, which she has already ruined with top editors, producers, and journalists. Instead of creating a thoughtful and tailored pitch for each client and targeting lists, she blasts out content to random lists and receives multiple requests to unsubscribe from her nonsensical press release verbiage and unprofessionalism. She was terminated from former PR firms in NYC and leaves a trail of negative works and reviews by others.
