While in the search for a HD tv I called USA Discounters and asked if they had any 65'in flat screen HD tv. I was told yes by a rep located at the woodbridge store in Virginia. The same rep advised me that there was pre-black Friday sale if I could get the tv by November 23, 2014. I spoke with the sales rep several times who assured me that I was getting a great price come and get the tv. While driving an hour and a half to get to the store a accident accured on the highway. I then was told that because I live in Maryland (Lahnam) I coud go to a Maryland office get the same tv for the same price. I requested that the rep call the Maryland store to confirm.
I then was in touch with a rep in the Maryland store who stated to me that I could get the same tv for the same price if I could get the tv today. I advise the lahnam rep that I was on my way. This rep called me nine times just to verify if I was coming. I also was asked by this tep if I had a pre-approval letter for USA Discounters. I stated that I had one done on November 7,2014. I was informed by this rep that the pre-approval only last 2 weeks, so we did another check and I was approved AGAIN.
On my way to that store another rep called and advised me the tv had been sold, but the Washington DC store has 3 on hand and I coould go there to get the same tv.
Again, I drove 1hour to the Washington DC store to purchase a tv. While at that store I was advised by the store manager and another staff member there of the following:
1. A pre- approval letter last 6 months NOT 2 weeks
2. The discount I was quoted was only on discontinued items
3. The rep in the Maryland office put a note in the system to get half the commission on the sale
The tv was $200.00 more then the quote I was given by the other sales reps in Virginia and Maryland.
for almost four hours I drove around thinking i was getting a good deal was a lie to get me in the store. I would NEVER go back to a USA DICOUNTERS AGAIN
