I was just notified by Credit Karma that this "doctor" has filed a claim against me for $740.
His website describes him as a "neurologist". But I have never had any neurological symtoms or treatment in my life (other than carpal tunnel in New York City 20+ years ago).
I have never received any invoices to back up this phony claim. And I was fully insured in a PPO at the time and no claim was ever filed with them. Also (of course) I always confirm that any doctor I see accepts my health insurance coverage BEFORE I make an appointment.
Although his website says that "Dr. Cimera sees patients at one doctor's office in Florida". The website also says that he speaks: "Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese". Up to you whether you believe he is truly so multilingual.
I am in my mid fifties and have NEVER had a collection report filed on me.
Florida is rife with medical scams. So avoid this "doctor" at all costs.
