I received an email from Mr. James Giles, claiming to manage a program that pays people to be a "Mystery Shopper," and offering to pay people who participate in this program.
I signed up for this program and then received yet another e-mail saying, "Your Check Is On The Way!" along with "instructions for my assignment."
I was also told to "cash this check at MY bank," then send HIM a check for $150, telling me that I could keep the item I purchased, and additionally saying that I would be "Paid" a sum of $200 once he received my "report," via email.
As I have been ripped off before, I determined NOT to do ANY shopping until i received the check, cashed it at a public check cashing store (not my checking account), deposit the CASH into my savings account (I set up a new one for this specific purpose), and then would complete the assignment.
Thank you for posting your reports on James Giles. I was almost taken in again.
