I hired Josh Amash, JA Asphalt Paving, aka Kingdom Asphalt Paving, to pave my parking area next to the Round Lake Village Inn. I told him of a particular problem area in the middle of the parking lot that would not drain water. He assured me that he would grade the lot to properly drain the rainwater.
I had hired him in November, 2014 which is at the end of the paving season. He did a nice, clean job but I called him after the first rainstorm to let him know that there was a large (20 ft +) puddle in the middle of the lot; the same area I had told him about before he started the job. He told me he would look at it but his equipment was put away for the season. He told me he would fix it in the spring.
This past winter there was a problem with ice/slush in that area.
I called Josh in the spring and talked to him about fixing the problem. He said he would go over to look at it. That was the last I heard from him. I have called MANY times but I figure he has my number and won't answer. I've left countless messages but I have had no response from him.
He provided me with a guarantee for his work but good luck getting hold of him!b
I too had a drainage issue, he said he would grade property, get stone, landscaping paper, sock pipe & go 18-24 inches deep. We trusted he would do it, and we went to dig a plant & 2" below soil laid the pipe, no paper & rock used only in one section. Called to have him fix & wont answer phone or texts.
