My daughter was in the hospital and needed to call home, so she called collect. On the phone it clearly stated IOS charged a great low rate of only $1/10 minutes.
When I received the collect call, I accepted, then it asked me for my credit card. Since I didn't know what was wrong, I accepted, we talked and I told her I couldn't talk long as I was concerned about the rate (that's when she read me what was printed on the phone).
The next day, I called my credit card to see what the charges were. They tried to charge my card TWICE! Thrankfully Capital One recognized the potential fraud and blocked both payments. One charge was $5, which I though was way too high, as that would have meant we spoke for 50 minutes. Then, they told me there was another charge that they tried to post the NEXT day - for $43.53!
I did agree to the $5, since I did use the service, but the other was marked Fraud and not paid.
