We were in the market for hardwood flooring so we decided to call the folks at invision we found them online but were not convinced with their boastful homestar reviews as there are many people that have scammed homestars. All one has to do is GOOGLE Homestars Scam and the search speaks for itself. My call was handled politely by lady who took my details than put me on hold.
My call was than taken by someone named Roy and I expressed my concern above, he became arugmentative as to my opinion or concerns, and I let that go. I explained I need several hundred feet of flooring, quoting what I wanted and needed a price. His answers became vague as I tried to say this is what I would like to buy and this is what and where I needed it installed. The more educated I became as to asking for exactly what I needed, the more abrupt and obnoxious he became.
Upon taking my call he boasted on how all the reviews posted are true but to my experience this couldnt be farther from the truth.
A very poor listener as he kept interjecting. I explained I need a farily accurate price as I was trying to watch costs and I had tried to ask him several times if someone comes out to measure or how does it work.
He than says $8-10 bucks a foot should cover everything. I than asked about quarter rounds. Oh no thats extra as rudely interupted me for the 5 or 6th time. I did my homework, new whatI was buying but that just seemed to piss Roy off even more as I would imaging most of the people calling him are dumb housewives where I would guess to say based on my experience he wouldnt be very fair, but Im sure he'd be real nice! Roy you are the most obnoxious business person I have ever spoken too. You must be one of the owners there because no one would hire you to work for them as to the way you treat people. Can you imagine if you bought somehting from these people and had a problem based on trying to call them us trying purchsase something. This is REAL HONEST REVIEW, NOT SOME B******* REVIEW. AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS! I called back and advised him I would right this seething review and he just laughed and hung up. This is the type of people that work at Invision Hardwood Flooring & Decor. Dilusional disrespectful and downright ignorant. Even the most difficult and challenging clients deserve basic courtesy and respect. After all they were calling you to spend their hard earned money Roy! We hope you experience the same treatment you provided in the near future when you go to call or buy a product or service. Only than might you understand your intransgient a****** personality. Rude, obnoxious and completely disrespectful. May this review haunt you for years to come and I can honestly say based on your behaviour it wont be the last. I recently had my house rilbeut as a result of losing it to a tornado. I didn't want to spend much effort at the time in choosing a contractor, I just wanted to get the project rolling so my wife and I could get our home back and our lives back on the right track! So I gave the job to a friend/contractor and started. The job ended up way over the initial cost discussed and I just wanted to throw out the facts and get some professional feedback for my piece of mind I guess. I will share some important facts so your feedback can be accurate.I live in LaGrange,GA about an hour and fifteen below Atlanta. The heated sq.ft. of the house is 2835. This person did do the pre-construction drawings and design pro bono. The finishes in the house are mainly above standard grade Large kitchen with Kraftmaid cabinets,granite tops and stainless steel appliances. All hardwood flooring throughout except for baths and entry hall finished with a 5$ per sq ft. tile. Master bath has a customized walk-in shower and 2nd bath has some small custom cabinet and shelving. The main living and kitchen area is a cathedral area with structural beams running both ways and they are wrapped with stained pine. Exterior doors were upgrades, entry being knotty alder finish. All interior doors are solid pine,stained and poly. All case and base trim is 1 4 and 1 6 staingrade pine. Closet shelving done in stained pine as well. Hardware for doors is oil rubbed bronze finish throughout. The attic trusses were designed for storage and it is decked with plywood and has pull down stair access. There are three full baths in total.Exterior is finished with hardi plank with miratech trim. All windows are low e and aluminum cladded. Most are twins with some in living area being casement. The main entry was upgraded to stack rock step fronts and flagstone treading. The landing and walkway has flagstone as well. The exposed foundation was finished with stack rock as well(65%)Overall we are very happy with the final product and I must say that the workmanship is excellent.But I just want to feel good about the whole thing entirely and needed to get some feed back on the financial part. The project ended up costing a total of $256,000.000Any professional comments would be appreciated!Thanks for great comments so far! I also forgot to mention that the contractor spent the first week and a half or so on demolition and removal of what was left from the original house.
