I was told that I would get my time share rented or sold. After sending my deposit.I never heared from them, when i tried to call theywould put you on hold and come back and say a representative would get back with you.No one evr called and they are still taking $9.95 out of my account and the bank can't get in touch with them.
I was contacted by Interval Advertizing Service about selling my time that I have with Summer Winds Resort. They told me I had 3 weeks available. I assumed they were from the timeshare and I was not going to be able to use those 3 weeks so I agreed to pay them to sell my time to someone else. I have found out now they have nothing to do with Summer Winds and also I do not even get three weeks of time there but only 1 week every other year. I am requesting my money back because they lied to me. Had I contacted Summer winds I would have read about the other company just like Interval Adv that was scamming people.
This is my response to the better business bureau
They told me they would rent out my 3 weeks on my time share. I do not even get 3 weeks for this. I only have one week and that is only every other year. I assumed they were with the timeshare company and I had gotten some extra time I was not planning on using. They never answer the phone so I had my daughter try to call for me. How can they rent out something I do not have? If they ever did get an offer to rent out my time they do not respond to phone or email. The cost they are charging is way over what any one would ever pay to go there. This place can be rented on the internet for anytime. Not only the time I have with my time share. I am a senior citizen. I believe people when they tell me something. I feel I was doped into this agreement. My husband had just passed away and I do not usually have to make these agreements on my own. As soon as I called my time share they said you have been scammed. We never have someone try to rent out your time. They told me to write the attorney general of Florida and file a complaint with them also. My daughter was very upset and told me the woman keep repeating the same thing over and over again. I also never got any emails from them. Again, why would anyone pay the enormous amount they were asking when it is available anytime to anyone on the internet for a lesser amount? And how can they afford to pay me the huge payment they promised? I knew it was one of those if it’s too good to be true, it isn’t. It should be fraud because I do not have 3 weeks. How can they do anything to improve the facts...I only have one week every other year not 3. They cannot rent, sell or whatever they call what they are doing as a legitimate business. They lie, cheat and steal.
