Interstate Fleet Services in Philadelphia was call to service a 53ft dry van with a hole in the floor. they were told it was a oak wood floor and the hole was 9"x12". The rep/dispatch took all info and would not dispatch service personal unless they were given a credit card #. Service was sent out to repair the hole in trailer floor however security at the location would not let the service tech on there premises due to no drivers license. After numerous phone calls between us our customer and Interstate our driver was aloud to pull the trailer off the property for repair . At this point in time we are very close to loosing the load we were scheduled to pick up. time is of the assents and our customer and security are not happy. Now the tech opens the doors and sees the hole and states he cant fix this trailer he's a truck mechanic. so more phone calls and he offers to put a peace of tin over the hole. A 6000lbs forklift and its load. Tin is not going to hold up to this weight. More phone calls, we have lost our load, we cancel this service call ask that they do not charge us. Now the tech is asking our driver to sign for services. Driver calls in and states he refused to sign and does not authorize them to charge our card. Forty five minutes later we receive an invoice with a charge of $ 81.00 to our credit card They were late to the site, The tech had no drivers license, The wrong tech was sent, The wrong supply's were brought. We believe we were wronged and should not have been charged. We will also demanded Reimbursement.
