Interface Talent Reviews

Signed up my son to a 3years contract worth $2700 with Interface. Back in 2011 during the 3 years span , I have never received neither a phone call NOR a gig offer for my son. Each time I called the agency to complaint, they gave me the run around and kept transfer me a bunch of different extensions. Until this day, I have never received any refunds. They are a total ripples off

I only received one year of service of my 3 year contract. Only one photo shoot of the 2 that I paid for and no way of getting in touch with the company. I lost a lot of money and possible lead time. They disappeared over night.

Please read and believe!! When Interface Talent called me for an interview, they make everything sound so professional and innocent. In their explaination the $800 they were charging me was for the photo shoot, rights to photos (?) distribution of photos to agencies and 2000 comp cards, hair stylist & make-up. The photo shoot was 6/2/14. I provided 8 outfits, she chose which 3 to use. Monday I returned to view proofs on their computer. After viewing, Robin Shipp provided a comp card, 8X11 sheet. Yes, I could have done that myself. But since it was included in the $800, I went along with it. After signing the contract is when she said I owe her another $800, totalling $1600 + $45 for copy rights. Now totalling $1,645. Now, Robin Shipp is running around the office to get a 4 year contract financed which promises 3 photo shoots, distribution of photos along with hair & make-up.

I was never told if the 4 year contract was approved and the funds would be automatically drafted from my account starting that immediately Friday. Starting with a deposit of $150 on 6/2/14; from 6/6/14 of $217.00 was to be deducted, ending 7/4/14 with final cost of $650, totalling of final cost of $800. Now they are suing me for $2,297.40 for services not rendered. They stopped the deductions, not me. So why am I being sued? Is this how they get their monies? I have called InterFace many times to find out what was going on with my pictures and was always told no one could come to the phone. It got to the point that I felt "black balled". When they see my name come up, they would not answer my call during business hours or whom ever I asked for was always busy. I used different names, but they would screen the call, wait a few seconds then return and say finance, marketing, or Robin Shipp was busy with other clients, or just put me on hold forever until the line went dead. Once the recorder came on and said the agency was not taking anymore clients at this time. I tried to contact Ronda Johnson @732-993-4220, who first told me my final payment of $217 was to be on 7/4/14. I have gone to other agency since this and was told I was ripped off. Of course I felt like a fool. I've been scammed along with many others. In the building, they had BBB certificates on the wall. When you call the BBB office, they don't give you any information on the company, they just say they are registered with them. I did not know about RipOffReport.com. If their is a lawyer out there that will take this pro bono, please help! Maybe you can get your fee when you win the case. I have all my paper work I received from this agency. InterFace Talent is a Con. Please heed this notice. I am unemployed trying to find work in the entertainment business and regular jobs. By this, my name will be destroyed. It is so very hard to trust anybody anymore.

On a Saturday afternoon I decided to take my 5 year old daughter to the mall. As we where enjoying each others company we where approach by a young lady who introduce her self as and agent for interface talent and conviced me that she saw so much potentials in my daughter. After a long talk she finally conviced me to fill out the sheet with my phone number on it.

Well a couple of days after I received a positive phone call from interface to come in with my husband because my daughter was highly reccomended by the agent and she has been choosing to sign with the agency, two parents need and the child is not neccesary need for that night.

when we went in that first night we where introduce to a young lady named Sally who reasured us about how beautiful our daughter is and how marketable she could be but all she needed was some photos to be taken. After a long talk and questions she informed us that the photos will cost us about 1000, with much hesitations to the price she worked up a deal with us, two weeks after my daughter went in for the shoots which came out really nicely. The next step is to go in and hear what is the next step and that is when they tell us that we needed to sign her with them for years for $4000 and as we decided to walk away because there was no way for us to afford that, they decided to work another deal with us claiming that we where going to make that money back in no time.

We did pay interface and it has been 5 months now and my daughter has never been contacted my them or any other agency.

I went for my interview, at first i was ""suppose"" to meet with the manager who was working on a movie. I spoked with a guy and when i got there I talked with a women who said she was the manger. Lie # 1

Pressured me into purchasing photoshoot session. I got home cancelled everythong and sent out my letter. Called until i knew they received my letter. its been way over the 60 days and still have't received my refund.

Everytime i call they have a different story. They wont let me talk to a manager or supervisor. I asked for a manager or supervisor name and they made any common name up "" Robert Johnson"". I plan on getting my lawyer involved

Walking through the Mall we were approached by some people from InterFACE. We needed some headshots and composites so we thought we'd check out their prices. They are not interested in real business. What are interested in is stringing along anyone who is unsuspecting enough to bite at their con. I didn't sign up for anything or give them any information. If you do it will just be used to make their boiler room call interest quota. So don't waste any of your time with them. They claim to be a "talent agency". They are not. They are boiler room scam designed. What's more, InterFACE style is toxic. I would not let them in the same room with my children.
