I contacted this firm ("Intelius") on a one and only one time basis to investigate the court and criminal back ground of a prospective employee. I initially paid this firm via credit card and received the report which in itself was some what lacking in detail when received.
I accepted this and assumed my transaction was complete and final. I then noted that my credit card was regularly being billed monthly by this firm on an unauthorized basis. They continued this fraudulent charging of my account until this date (1/6/2015) when discovered. When attempting to contact them I get no response.
The firm advertises that they maintain an A+ rating with the BBB and "Trust e" online privace protection???? This firm is a "SCAM" and should be avoided by all.
Signed up for a one time people search. Was free if you cancelled withing given time I thought I had cancelled only to continue being charged $19.95 a month on a premium service for no less than 3 months. User be ware!
