The started off by saying congratulations this to inform you been hired to participate in our Mystery Shopper's program. Just contact your Training coordinator by dialing (929 465-4488 or 705-500-1459- direct line- Daniel George Ext-800. So I called the number talking with who I believe Daniel George and he asked for the job Id number then saying deposit the check and wait 24 hours to 48 before starting. So I did but when I started withdraw the funds to participate as I was instructed they stoped the check and it hurt my account.
Received a letter today from insight market research group a subdivision of Wesco group. The letter read congratulations this is to inform you that you have been hired to participate in the mystery shoppers programme it says to call 1 of 3 numbers the first number is 1 800 948 0201 the second telephone number is 800 942 1204 then they add a direct line of 705 500 1450 and says to call between the hours of 9 a.m. not to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and to speak with your assigned coordinator Kenny George. With the letter is an enclosed check that appears to be from Mountain Pacific Bank and looks 100% legitimate. Except that the address on this check is from A PO box in Lynnwood Washington. Seeing how other people have received letters from the same company accept a different subdivision from the same exact person's name except for the fact that they are an Indian person and again when you try to call them and if you try to question them they don't want to answer or they just hang out because you're asking too many questions I will go ahead and forward this information over to the local FBI and police office for them to look into.
As good as this scene and seeing that there are real mystery shopping programs out there this is a company that appears to be very quickly trying to take advantage of individuals it appears that this is a brand new scam and has only been caught by a couple of people so far.
I to was a victim of a scam but because I have been a victim in the coast I knew what signs t ok lol for a I did all my right research. Insight market research tried to scam me I went to the website was only able to open 1 link about the company with th r website provided on the paper sent with the check. The check looks very real and I would have cashed it in hopes to make money mystery shopping. Until, I came across the other complaint about the same company and the same gentleman's name KENNY GEORGE, the contact numbers were different, and the check value was 10 dollars less and the bank the check was from was bank of tokyo, so thank you to the other person for your information I'm sorry u were a victim and anyone else reading this this company is bullshit. Don't let these people fool you make sure you do your research they think,they are smarter then then most Yes if it is t ok good to be true it usually is I was dropped for only 400$ earlier this year bc I believed I had won a SIM of 850,000 and a new bmw. Mistakenly I sent money to the individual they had trucking info thru their scam site it seem legit and the package made it to Indiana from north Carolina before customs held it bc of the size of the check. I was informed if I,paid 1600 for a certified letter my package will proceed to Illinois I realized I was being scammed and never sent money and I've never heard from the person again.
Please, folks be aware of this letter. My Letter is Dated June 12, 2015. It reads: Congratulations: This is to inform you that you have been hired to participate in our Mystery Shopper's program. (with companies i.e., Wal-Mart, Western Union, Money Gram, 7 Eleven, CVS/Pharmacy, Rite-Aid, Dollar General, Dollar Tree,KMart,Sears, Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot, Kroger, Office Depot Blah, blah, blah. My JOB ID #02-79S7-399. Please call us: 1-800-447-1844(ext. 800) or 1-800-887-7431 and this is the clicker, they put a real physical # that stays busy all the time at 716-342-4888 and a fax: 610-887-5698.
They don't think we are smart creatures, beause they want us to call the toll free #'s. The Check is from Bank Of America for $1,979.02. At the bottom of the letter is a rectangular box with a breakdown on how to spend the enclosed check. 1. Your Salary(mine)....$300.00. 2. Survey fund needed for Job $1679.02. Total $1,979.02 (the total amnt. of the pretty check) On the upper left hand corner of the check is from a Steel Company, Grede II LLC. Company, P.O. Box 300, Menomonee, Falls WI 53052. Oh! This is a real physical place. What alarmed me was the City they used, Menomonee(ME KNOW MONEY) I know because I researched this Company.
Guess what? I know money too! Mine...the kind I worked hard for and don't intend for these RATS to get their hands on any or discredit my good credit history.
I will also get in contact with the Steel Company and make them aware that these crooks are using them as bait too!
I pray and hope you all will read this and take heed, not to call, or deposit these fraudulent checks. As the old addage goes, If it looks too good to be true then it is."
I called all the 1-800#'s they have on the letter. I reached someone at 1800-447-1844 (ext. 800) ask for Kenny George. How convenient, he was the 800 ext. with an All-American Name, that has an Asian or Indian Accent. I informed him that I was aware that this scheme was a fraud and he said, "Go F--K Yourself." and hung up. The other 800 # plays, Instrumental Christmas Music in June. I called back with *67 first, and he paused I disguised my voice this time and when I asked him about the Steel Co. he then repeated the expletive, above and hung up again.
It was hilarious to me. However, It isn't funny for the many folks who has or will be duped into depositing these bounced checks. I know people are desperate for an extra income but please be vigilent about what is going on in the world. Peole are thirsty and hungry! And will do whatever necessary to get your hard earned money!
I just pray that anyone reading this will be saved from these Culprit RATS!
