I first began receiveing calls about 11/2 months ago. I was told that there were charges against me that will be filed in the county I live in and I would be picked up at my place work or home. They called my cell, home and my father. Worrying my 73 year old dad. When I called they were rude. I was finally able to speak with someone to tell me what this was, and where it came from. I have no debts with the online payday loan that I was being accused of ditching payment. I was scared, upset because of the type of job I have. I have never been in trouble with the law and was not aware on how to handle so I tride to do this diplomatically. This company sounds so legit, you would not know. However, they did not give a lot of information and that was difficult. They are hard to reach and there is a gentleman working there who is extremely rude.
After I faxed my information into the company, I was told everything would be cleared. Three day later, the phone calls began again. I stopped answering them. That did not work because I then received a call from a woman stating that she had the paperwork and would come and pick me up this morning for processing unless I called this number. I called the number and now the online payday loan from the other place was transferred to this company and the amount I owed had tripled. The name od this company, another collection place called Legal Service located in Pennsylvania. At the time I did not know what was going on but I knew that I did not have a payday loan, however this company had a lot of information on me. I was scared to death. I sent them 1000, and was going to send 500 more. I was going to send it and then fight to get it back. Once I got off the phone with this company, I began thinking about what has happened and finallt taked with someone and that is when I found out this is a scam. I have contacted the BBB, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and my bank fraud division. I refuse to be harassed and I am seeking to bring these companies down. It's horrible what they are doing and I am educated and should have known better but they sound so legit.

Received a call from Nichloas Grant, saying I had a credit card with last 4 # and I owed $514.71.
This is from 2006 and with all the fee I now owe $1201.00...He said if I did not pay they would file
charges on me for two counts of fraud in my county. I ask him what county that would be and he gave
me a city not a county.. What bothers me is he has all my personnel info.. I never had this card..beware of calls
from this company also they have several different phone number they were calling me from and then Nicholas Grant said he was in Washington, DC..
