I was drawn in by FortaTrusts "low" pricing structure for a full year of dedicated hosting server with 8GB of ram for $285/yr. Then I went on 3 months later to purchase a custom server with much more hard drive space for an agreed upon $765 per year in chat. I made the first purchase in April 30, 2013 and the next purchase June 23, 2013.
Fast forward to Jan 1, 2014.
FortaTrust charges me $312.85 out of the blue, writting support at FortaTrust provides no english legable explanation other than "we are sorry we fixed the statement" but they did not follow my request to return my funds as I did not need or intend to renew the server. Further they charged it 4 months early.
This resulted in a lengthy credit card "dispute" instead of fraud, for some reason my credit card company thinks it is okay for a fraud company like FortaTrust to steal your money if you provided them your credit card originally.
FortaTrust responded to the dispute with false information about providing more services and I proved they were being fraudulent by submitting original order receipts and a history of my communications with FortaTrust support. Which included them admitting they were not supposed to charge my card yet, however, they never willingly or even offered to return the funds. They just continued to ignore my requests to return the money.
In the same requests I told them they are not to charge my card any further for any services I have with FortaTrust without my express written consent.
FortaTrust turned off the servers when the credit card dispute started.
When the bank requested more information after already spending hours providing detailed information to them simply because FortaTrust decided it was a good idea to lie to the dispute department instead of just agreeing to return the money they stole. I went into the control panel and noticed FortaTrust still had the 2 servers listed as "active services" from their WHM control panel.
So I followed up on April 30th and said "I already submitted cancellations and told you not to bill any further. Cancel these services. I will document this and the other requests and send it to the bank as I have an open dispute with you."
They simply reply asking a question that further indicates they do not speak or understand English rather than complying.
"Can you please forward the ticket ID were you have your cancellation confirmation.

On May 16th they charged my card another $856.66 even though I have no active services with them and have not since starting a credit card dispute, even though I paid for a full year on both servers and did not receive a full year. They have effectively stolen half of the original $756, as they shut off service on that server in Jan 14, when it was paid up front for a year in late June 2013.
Then they commit further fraud by stealing more money and continuing to charge my credit card. I wish I would have just zapped the number and received another card, which I have finally done now. I will follow up with Attorney general complaints, complaints to the FBI and the appropriate business bureaus. You simply can NOT trust FortaTrust, they are theives.
