I signed up for an online webinar titled "Info Marketing Mastery Webinar # 3" It took place on May 20, 2014, and was delivered by the webinar promoter, Jeff Vacek.
The price to attend the online webinar to simply listen was $9.95. And to receive an audio recording of the webinar, the total price would be $19.95. Because the webinar was supposed to last some two hours, I purchased the "total package" for $19.95.
In Jeff Vacek's words/description of the webinar, the presentation was suppoesed to include the following:
"So Here's Everything You'll Learn...
"How the Top 1% of Info Marketers Can See EXACTLY What Your Customers are Already Buying and are Willing to Pay For
"Where to Find the EXACT MESSAGING That's Being Used By These Marketers in the Same Niche to Get Customers to Spend Thousands So that You Can Model It for Your Products
"How to Determine the RIGHT Emotional Language to Use in Your Messaging That Speaks to Your Customer's Core Wants, Needs and Desires and Positions Your Product as THE Solution
"The ONE Key Ingredient to Creating Compelling Messaging that Most Newbie' Marketers ALWAYS Miss that Makes Your Messaging Dry, Dull and Useless (just wait til' you see this, you'll wish you'd known about it years ago).
"Too much more to mention here..."
The webinar lasted less than 45 minutes and consisted primarily of listening to Jeff Vacek talk while the participants stared at two or three frozen video frames.
The information provided in the webinar was very basic and not worth the price charged.
Immediately after the webinar, I sent Jeff Vacek the following message:
"Hi Jeff:
"Wow, was I disappointed in your webinar.
"I thought the webinar was going to be two-hours long and would contain lots of information. That's what your info said and that's why I got the upgrade.
"But it was neither filled with info or two hours long.
"I'd like my money back -- at least the upgrade amount."
Shortly after I sent that message, I received the following automated reply:
"Hello,
"Thank you for contacting the Customer Support Center for Jeff Vacek's team.
"This is an automated acknowledgement of your message (#31519) to let you know we have received your email.
"One of our Customer Support Specialists will read and address your e-mail personally. We trust you understand that it takes time to properly research and gather information before we respond to your e-mail. Your patience is appreciated."
I've waited a few days and have sent the "Support Center" additional messages. So far no one has gotten back to me.
While on the surface, the price I paid for this extremely underwhelming and falsley promoted webinar was "only" $19.95, I feel it is important to report my dissatisfaction with the webinar's contents and with Jeff Vacek's lack of follow-up to my request for a refund.
I can only guess how many other indivisuals were on this webinar and how many thousands of dollars Jeff Vacek made for a mere 45 minutes for the deliverey of such a limited presentation that did not live up to the advertised product.
If this is the way he conducts business with regard to customers who pay for his "entery" services, I personally would never trust his word to buy anything else from him -- and certainly not for more tha $19.95.
