In July we contracted Infinity Van Lines thru the Internet with sales agent named Jimmy, who seemed very nice & helpful at that time. He emailed us a form to fill out with our stuff to be picked up in a storage in TX and gave us a quote. On July 19, 2014, the truck driver who picked our stuff was very rude & unprofessional. He used intimidation and harassed our representative there and refused to pick up all our stuff unless we paid on the spot his quote which was triple the prize we have quoted by the company. Since we needed our bed very badly, we agreed to pay extra amount to get it delivered to us. Three weeks after, the delivery truck came with only boxes and our king size mattress was missing. The driver here, Horacio Valle, put a note on the receipt that our bed was missing. We only got the metal foundation & the 2 box springs, no mattress. Some of the boxes were crushed & busted even the plastic bin. Some of my chinaware were broken. All our furniture weren't delivered. The driver in TX left our washer & dryer, thread mill, the whole living room set that we purchased at Lazy Boy 4 yrs. ago. queen size bed & bed frames & a lot of other stuff at the storage without any care whatsoever. When we call the company, none of them wanted to speak to us. I sent the claim form that they sent me but to this writing, we haven't heard from them. Hiring the Infinity Van Lines was the worst nightmare that we ever had. People who work there are very unprofessional and fake in reality.

Scam

I recently hired this company and they demanded money up front as well. They are indeed scammers. They loaded up all my things then quoted a different price which was 900 dollars different from the quote given. I called them and they told me either I pay them or I would not get my items back. The supposed owner threatened to auction off my things through craigslist or post my details on Craigslist so that other scammers could reach me. Please be advised the moving truck had no logo. Don't be scammed by these low life idots who are money hungry. They are very unprofessional . The got my things and displayed a total different attitude once my things were in their custody. If you see them do yourself a favor and call the police and get their real identities because they use fake made up names ( stolen identities) if you have any questions regarding infinity van lines don't hesitate to call me 229 429 3462. I wish I had done my homework ahead of time then my things would not be compromised.

I gave this company my business based on what I had been told by the salesman and nothing has gone as he had promised.

I had to retain a storage unit in Texas when I was moving from Arizona to Florida because of a car accident with a trailer attached. This was a 6x12 trailer from U-haul that measures 396 cubic feet. I was quoted $1386 from Infinity Van Lines and told they would pick up my belonging on Sept. 3rd or 4th. I was also told that with an email from me they would remove the lock on my storage unit to gain access.

After getting my deposit, I was told they could not move my things until Sept. 7th to which I had no option but to agree. Sept 7th came and the dispatcher called and told me I had to be on site to open the storage room to which I told her I was in Florida. She told me I had to figure out a way to get the unit open or her guys would not be able to move my items.

I told her Dan, my salesman had said all I needed was to send them an email giving them my permission to access the unit and it would not be a problem. After several phone conversations, I had no other option but to hire a locksmith to open the unit at the cost of $125.

Once the movers were there, they finally called and said by sight it looked like more than 420 Cubic feet which is what I had estimated since we unloaded a trailer that could hold no more than 396 cubic feet. He said he would take video, weigh the items, take pictures and send them to my cell phone. Never heard from them again. I started calling the main office Monday morning and got repeatedly told I would be called back and never received a return call. Again, I tried on Tuesday and spoke with a dispatch manager, Liz. She sated she would call the driver and get back to me. There was not return phone call. Again trying on Wednesday, I reached Liz and she told me I had extra charges for packing item, walking a longer distance than 50 feet and an addition 130 cubic feet and these changes were in excess of $803 more and that I would not receive a date of delivery until half was paid per my contract. I asked to speak with a manager and was told someone would call me back.

This has been the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and a move that was quoted to cost me $1386 is now $2,211+. I had no idea what to do at that time and was told they were holding my items with no choice but to pay this money without any proof of the additional cost.

Upon delivery of my items (twenty days later) and after having to pay whatever they demanded to release them from ransom, many items were damaged and several items were missing completely. They presented me with contracts to sign that said I was notified of the change in price and agreed to it BEFORE they moved my items from the storage unit in Texas. Other parts of their paperwork were either unreadable or even blank in important areas. I wrote refused to sign on everything! Again, we called the company and they said they would try to locate the missing items but never received a follow up. Calling them again, they said we had to fill out a claim form and they would start a case that would take up to 120 days.

I have even filed with the Better Business Bureau and they could not resolve the case. Up to this point we have not resolved the situation. Dealing with this company got so bad we had to actually start recording their calls so we had some evidence of the lies they were telling us which changed from day to day. I should have known something was amiss when they did not take credit cards and payments could only be from a bank draft or cash. If I could have used a card it would have offered me protection from this kind of fraud. This company should be brought up on criminal charges of theft and fraud. I hope enough people read this and save themselves from dealing with Infinity Van Lines!

Contracted with Infinity Van Lines to move belingings with a binding estimate of $1380 and gave them electronic deposit of $414. An additional $438 was to paid at time of pickup and remainder at time of delivery. When truck arrived to pickup items, I was told the cost would be over $3000. They wanted to take items to their wearhouse for weighing and get back to me with new price. Said I had a binding estimate and was told the person who calculated the cost didn't know what they were talking about. Figured out I had been taken and told them to leave before I lost more then $414. I'm sure this is standard practice for Infinity and they count on people willing to pay more than the agreed upon price because they fear losing the original deposit. If you want to get lied to and robbed, call Infinity Van Lines.
