I am a builder and they promised a customer of ours a mortgage through private investing instead of a converntional mortgage. They ask for upfront fees for appllications small amounts such as $1500. Then they will continue to drag you along and ask for more application fees because the private investor they had lined up backed out. They will continue to tell you it will go through and close however they need another application. The letters they generate to give you Proof of Funds are false. The letters are not even from legitimate companies. You will never be able to talk to these false companies, they have no web sites. the phone numbers never add up. Then when they feel they are losing you they continue to ask for money, to know help them pay there office rent, of lend them money to help make there car payment unitl the transaction closes. They never have real lending documents. It is a very big scam, and they will never close your deal. There are a couple of people behind this the two that we had contact with is Charles Whiteman and Ryan Halican. The interesting part is they start out with small amounts of money such as $300 or $450 and once they think they have you it goes up to $1500 or so. However the amount of work they put into scamming you for the money, just doesnt seem worth it. Just get a honest job that would seem a lot easier. Please stay away from these guys it is a scam and there is no other way to put it.
