When you purchase on the secondary market you will not receive all the first visit incentives to original purchaser received while on tour. If everyone purchased on the secondary market, Vacation Ownership Companies or "Timeshare CompanIes" would go out of business! in your quest to save money instead of buying your program legitimately by attending a presentation and recieving the "On Tour Benefits" like most people do, you have found yourself in a negative position. you are now wanting to blame a company who had no clue what you were doing and now you're wanting to blame Diamond Resorts for your blunder! I am a Diamond Owner. I went on a presentation and bought. I have also upgraded twice over the last 7 years. You're wanting the same benefits I paid thousands for for a few hundred bucks! Diamond Resorts does not have a resale department , believe me I have inquired. So, it's only natural that Diamond Resorts would not be buying back anything from you or even have a department that you can call. Bottom line you were conned by a slick talker and instead of taking responsibility it's easier to place blame on others. Next time attend a presentation and by it first hand!
I called Equifax to order a one time fee product. The associate who did not speak good English kept trying to get me to buy a monthly product and I told him I only wanted to purchase the one product for a one time fee. The next month I was charged for a reoccurring monthly product.
When I called to speak to them about the issue, the associate Thomas was very rude. I explained to him what had transpired and I would like my money refunded for this product I did not ask for. He kept trying to sell the product to me and I had to tell him three times that I never wanted that product and I just want my money refunded. Thomas then told me that the money could not be refunded. I then asked to speak to a supervisor/manager, he responded "He's going to tell you the same thing I did", which I thought was very unprofessional.
When the supervisor/manage Oscar got on the phone, I told him the scenerio. He started telling me about the product and I told him that I ordered anything monthly and I just want my money refunded. Oscar stated that he could not refund my money.
They are agressive and very rude. Anytime a consumer says they are not interested and the associate still makes several attempts to get you to buy something you want is high pressure sales. I know why I order the product I did, it was for a one time need and to be charged for something that I didn't ask for is unfair to the consumer. I went on line once to use the product and got the information I need then because I knew I only had it for a month and ended up getting charged an additional amount. This appears to be no more than unethical business practices, harrassing and scamming customers out of their money. They are always quick to let you know the call could be monitored or recorded, I told Oscar to go back and listen to the conversation. I'm one person but when this is being done to numerous consumers, they are pocketing a lot of money from helpless consumers, since they state they can not do any refunds. Be aware of Equifax products.
Tried for seven months to get General Motors to help me with a New Chevy Dealer that sent my car damaged, dirty, and out of gas. They did nothing to help.
