Mr. Serenli stole the marble saddle that fit perfectly and flush between my hallway, which has hardwood floors, and my master bathroom, which is tiled. Two different contractors retiled the bathroom in the past without disturbing the saddle. I suspect Mr. Serenli spotted the marble the first time he came to the house. It was he who insisted that I would never sell my home without a new bath.
Once I signed with Mr. Serenli, he became overbearing and abusive. If I disagreed with anything he said, he would yell at me and tell me "Sweetheart, you will never sell you house if you don't do this." He insisted that I purchase all materials for the job under his supervision at the Home Depot before he would begin work. While at the Home Depot, Mr. Serenli conveniently added a new saddle and a new door for the bathroom (I had had no intention of replacing the bathroom door); that was the day before he pulled up the tile and the saddle went missing.
The replacement saddle was too high, so Serenli hacked off two inches of the new $200 door and jam. I complained, so he put in a saddle that was slightly lower (at my expense), but the door is still ruined. When I asked about the original saddle, he just yelled at me and told me there was no marble saddle there.
I would like to restore the entrance to my master bathroom with a marble saddle that is flush to the flooring and a door without a ragged bottom.
I finally found a selfie with the bathroom door in it and the flush saddle in the background. When I asked Mr. Serenli about the saddle, he said he would bring it back, restore it to its original position and replace the door. Later, he left me a confused message in broken English, that no, he did not have my saddle, that he would buy a saddle at Home Depot ... I guess he found a buyer for my saddle.
