As a prevoius customer stated Humble Abode is untenable and irresponsible and their customer reps and owner are liars. I ordered the Saratoga Iron Bed and was told it woud be delivered in 3 to 6 weeks..the company continued to change their ship date every couple of weeks a total of 8 times..I finally asked them to just cancel my order which they refused and refused not to ship Said they would charge me a restocking fee and shipping to return. The bed was finally shipped and received 3 months after I ordered it! It was difficult to assemble and the instructions were not even for my bed....their reviews are fraudulent on their site...I can only say that they should be put out of busioness ASAP!!!!!
Some time ago, I ordered one of Humble Abode's best king size bed frames with a supposedly lifetime guarantee. After a few years, one of the nine plastic legs broke off and I sent a couple of E-mails in an attempt to obtain a replacement. Humble Abode simply ignored them, and I was then forced to find a replacement on-line, which was not that hard to do and was relatively inexpensive, but the part did vary a bit in color. Humble Abode needs to stop advertising that they offer a lifetime guarantee if they actually don't!
Ordered Dexter bed over a month ago, they kept changing ship date, I emailed, not reply, I called no answer or 15 min wait, kept changing ship date, finally I called again and they said not sure when will ship. I cancelled my oreder and having read the other reviews am glad I did!
Service was terrible and its been 2 months since i ordered my bed and still nothing, I called customer and they told me that it would take two weeks so I waited, after two weeks nothing, so I called again and they told me to give them till the following week and still nothing, I tried calling for 2 day's and couldn't get through. I kept calling on the already purchase item and couldn't get through again. after two days of trying i decided to call as a buying customer and finnally got through. now its been two month after talking to the representertive he told me that the bed should go out tomorrow and told me it would take 5 to 10 days for delivery. I will give them till tomorrow and if nothing I will give up and try to get my money refunded. Let see what will happen tomorrow. Please people dont even take the chance on buying from Humble Abode. Service is terrible and they are not professionals, I wouldn't recomend them to my worst enemy.
