If I could this place 0 stars I would. This was far and away the WORST sales experience I have EVER had. Initially, when we worked with Rico, we had a good experience. He was friendly and there was no pressure. We made a second appointment to come back and actually buy a car, and THAT'S where the problems started.
We showed up on time for our appointment, but spent somewhere around 30 minutes waiting for someone to work with us. Rico, meanwhile, was outside messing around with his wife and children. Normally, I wouldn't mind this in the slightest, except for the fact that we had an appointment, we were there on time, and we told him we were there to purchase a car THAT DAY. Rico didn't remember who we were, what we wanted, our budget or anything else. Then, he tried to tell us to buy a car off the lot, because it would help the store's numbers. I didn't want a car off the lot, I wanted a Nissan Versa Note in Morning Sky Blue, with the 2nd best trim level, and there were NO other colors I wanted (which I made very clear). He tried to sell us one in silver, which I said, very clearly, I DID NOT WANT. We were also looking at a Juke, which, according to the Nissan website, was only going to be slightly more expensive than the Versa Note.
At this point, we had been waiting somewhere around 2 hours to actually get this done (no one was offered water, and my stepfather and boyfriend were not given a place to sit), when FINALLY the finance person came in (Rico, at that point, left us sitting in his office alone). The finance person started running numbers for us, and started with the Juke. He basically insinuated that my mother had lied about the numbers she pulled for the Juke from the Nissan website (my mother is a finance director, she wouldn't dare let me go near something I couldn't afford). He said the Juke was double the price from the Versa Note, that we were wrong, etc. That's fine if there was an error, but he was extremely rude about it. He was then extremely rude to my stepfather, telling him to stop talking, that he didn't know anything about the pricing of the cars, etc. He was also rude to me, telling me he didn't care what was pulled off of the website, that these were his prices and that was that. At this point, we had been at the office about 4 hours.
I excused myself, went outside, and burst into tears because I was so angry. My boyfriend was shocked at how emotional I got, especially since I am normally extremely level-headed. I wiped my tears, went back inside, and told the salesperson I didn't want a car and we were through. He argued that the Nissan Versa Note was well within my price range, and I just needed to get over it when it came to the Juke. He said if I wanted to buy a car, then the Versa Note should be my choice. I said, "Oh no, I am going to buy a car today. I just don't want to buy a car from YOU." He tried to protest again, and I looked at my family and said, "Get your things, we're done here." We stood up and walked out of the office.
Moral of the story? Save yourself the trouble and DON'T purchase your vehicle from here.
I purchased a car from Hudson Nissian it was a used 350Z.. I paid 24,000.00 for it.. after 2 weeks the engine check light came on.. they will not cover the repairs.. I have them in court.. its taking me another 5000.00 to make them pay.. this is the worst Nissian dealer in S.C.
