I have been a loyal customer with HostFor2Bucks.com for almost a decade. Apparently, customer loyalty doesn't matter to them much.
Earlier this year, the WordPress site I hosted was hacked. HostFor2Bucks.com took the site down, which is reasonable. I asked them when they would reset the site and get me back up. It ultimately took 4 months to do so, with scant response from their customer service. They apologized for the delay and gave me some credit for the months down.
Once they reset the site, they gave me instructions on how to proceed. The instructions didn't work. My admin password didn't work. My site is still down.
I reopened the customer service ticket and explained to them that I still could not access the site. Another week passed, no response. I submitted notes on the ticket. No response. I submitted letters to their customer service through their website. No response. It has now been another couple months, and still no response.
I checked the whois for the site, and it is locked to HostFor2Bucks, so I cannot transfer my website to another provider. I cannot access my website. Their customer service has not responded once since "restoring" my website. My site is still down and now it has been almost a half a year since I've had it up.
In short, it is a great company unless something goes wrong, then they just ignore you and don't solve your problems no matter how long you've been with their company. They couldn't care less about their customers, except for the bill.
