Had flowers with a teddy bear and candy sent to hospital for my daughter. This was just before Thanksgiving. Flowers were okay, teddy bear was soaked with water and dirt, and the candy was missing. Called customer service. The gal apologized and said she'd have to check with the supplier to find out what happened. Well, it's been weeks and no response. I would have expected an immediate refund for the missing candy at the very least. For the upgraded cost that I paid for, I would have expected flawless delivery and customer service. Would NEVER do business again with this outfit !!
I have dealt with every major flower delivery business on the web - 800 Flowers, Pro Flowers, FTD, Telaflora, all of them - and Hospital Gift Shop is by far the worst. They charge premium prices for third rate services, they are very fast to take your money, very slow to deliver ... and then use every tired dodge in the book to avoid responding to customer service calls and/or providing confirmation of delivery. If you care enough to send flowers to someone who is ill, be wise enough to avoid (at all costs) these clowns.
Yes, similar experience. Have had to initiate a credit card dispute with them for their failure to deliver to daughter in hospital who had baby within two days after the call.
