I was awarded $8300 for unpaid commissions by the Labor Board. Hooman appealed, then did not show up in court. The courts gave him another chance to explain why they did not show up and an attorney showed up, claiming to be just hired by Hooman for this case the prior day! He kept coughing like he smokes too much and appeared to be perhaps Persian and Jewish like Hooman, I say that because Hooman only like his own race/religion in my opinion!
A year and half later, we will have a trial. I will have to hire an attorney for the day, and sue Hooman for the attorney's pay also. I think that I will keep blogging, yelping and Facebooking all of the negative facts that I can about Hooman. Customers should stay far away from this place. Here is what I saw while working there:
Employees are lied to about their expected earnings when hired! The Finance Director loses his temper and humiliates the men in finance with insults for every little thing that goes wrong! The offices are beyond dirry and disgusting and so is the neighborhood with mentally ill folks wandering the sidewalks! They do not pay you what you are owed each paycheck, so eventually it piles up!
They take back new cars and re-sell them as new again! Hooman used to be a Fleet Manager for Lexus Santa Monica and paid himself commissions AND broker fees to his own brokerage under a different name! When the owner found out that he was double dipping, they fired him! Hooman threatened me when I first demanded this unpaid commission!
He offered me $1000 in the trial, which proves that he knows that he owes me money! He obviously is not a smart business man or he would have paid me just to get rid of me before I kept the negative press going!
Vendors such as Lojack and lender reps from banks have all mentioned that other Finance Managers have sued and won for their lost wages! Hooman needs a lesson in resolving issues before they snowball, hopefully he will retire soon and a nice owner will buy the dealers!
