Holsted Jewlers sent me a letter saying I won 2 free rings, a $50 gift card to Target all for free just to preview their products. Call their number give the number on my certificate, no problem. I was a past customer from years ago so why not! Well my bank account was charged with 5 charges totally about $35. I received 1 ring in the mail.No gift card. I called my bank and cancelled my bank not knowing that the day before they charged my account $59.95. I went back to the bank because I had spent weeks calling them and never getting through. My bank is working to get my money back!! I cannot believe this company has gone downhill like this, I am 60. Who rips off old ladies let alone anyone after years as a good company and why!!!!!
I ordered some jewlery from this company a couple of months ago. it was relatively cheap and was a gift for a friend. A couple of months after the jewlery cam in, i was checking my acount to see how much money i had when i noticed that there were two pending transactions. i looked to see what was pending and found out that it was holsted jewlers. i aslo checked online to see some more about them and found out that more people have had the same problem as i.
As always, CAVEAT EMPTOR!. But, in this case, all complainers should READ BEFORE THEY CLICK "OK".

Accepting the FREE rings also entitles you — if you choose — to preview upcoming items from each corresponding collection. You have absolutely no obligation to buy anything. If you wish to preview upcoming items, you don’t have to do a thing. A new item that coordinates with each FREE ring will be sent to you in about four weeks. For each upcoming piece you receive, you'll pay just $49.99 plus $6.99 shipping and handling, and you can decide whether you’d like to keep it, or send it back in exchange it for either a new piece of jewelry or a merchandise credit. If you don’t wish to preview additional items you may cancel your preview option after you receive your free ring(s) by calling our toll-free telephone number included in the shipment.
If you read this, you see YOU AUTHORIZE SHIPMENTS AND CHARGES! FOLLOW UP IS NECESSARY ON THE CONSUMERS PART. Stop complaining and take responsibility for your ignorance.
Fake ive called more than once and always hard to understand person. The gems MAY? be real but the crap that they cast it in turns your finger, neck, wrist GREEN! I know my jewelry and even told them that if they did not put n their web that NONE of their STUFF? is set in any 925 or gold, or even plated that I would proceeed to OWN thier company. BEWARE I dont know what JUNK they set their supposed jewelery in, BUT START A CAMPAIN TO STOP IT!!!!!!
