Mailed my "taxes" for my Legoland ticket in April, called and emailed regularly for months -- they always said it was processing and I should check back in a couple weeks -- then once my voucher expired in June they said they never got the check. They told me if I spent $30 to put a stop payment on my $25 check, they could consider reinstating the voucher so that I could start all over (sending another check with my requested dates, which would have to be another 60 days out, etc). So much for taking my daughter to the new waterpark this summer. I eventually caved in and called them back to see if I could get something in writing promising that if I spent the money on the stop payment they would do something at their end. They told me that I took too long to get back to them and they had already invalidated my voucher.
I have spent almost 3 years trying to take the trip. I gave new Orleans the first year. No openings either date. Then I thought Las Vegas in the winter, again dates came and went no availability. I asked the representative and Las Vegas is supposed to be the easiest destination so I gave Las Vegas again and they called telling me if I go to another timeshare presentation they can get me a room. Heck, you can do that on your own and not pay $50 in taxes. I declined and said if they have trouble finding a room this time I am happy to pay an upgrade to a hotel that has a room. LOL. I kid you not, I just received the form back again making this 3 years I have been trying to collect on the trip and even though I am willing to almost pay for the room, they still do not have availability. Holiday Travel of America is definitely in my book a scam. The tax money isn't much, $50.00 and I am not sure if they cashed the check or money order, its been so long I would have to refer to my paperwork, but I finally am sending a letter today requesting my deposit back. I am out a couple Certified mailings and quite a lot of time invested in this. How sad when a travel company cannot book a room in Las Vegas in Non Peak season for 3 years in a row. Good Luck!
False advertisement, gave them a second chance to deliver waht they promised and it experience was even worse, waste of time, don even bother.
Worse company ever, customer servece deparment is well trained in givin negative answers to any questions or concerns you have, especially if you get a lady named Chris on the phone.
