I received a call from a man named bill Shapiro he said he was a licensed health insurance agentwith the highland health group. He said I requested a health insurance quote. I did not do this he had my name address phone number & email address. He said I was listed as uninsured & did not qualify for Obama Care. Really I said & asked for more information. He wanted to know if I worked & had a checking account to pay with today. I said yes to bothhe gave me a quote of 237.50 a month plus a 99.00enrollment fee. Sounded fishyi said what's next bill? He wanted my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER! I hung up he called back I did not answer. Go to find out I still had to pay a 95.00 dollar penalty to the IRSqith his scam company! Beware all reputable insurance companies do not telemarket you!
they were trying to rush me for program approval, wanted my ssn & checking acct info… so I asked him does he have a website, he gave me http://highlandhealthgroup.net .. so i googled it & put 'scam' behind it… & sure enough, Better Business Bureau not accredited. So I kept digging, found this page you're reading, read the review, & added my review. ~ man, that dude got off the phone with me quick when I began reading his file, lol.. ~ overall result = SCAM!!! HANG UP THE PHONE!!!
i honestly did not know what to believe now but i was reading your post and it sounded like my situation. but now i gave him my account information so wednesday he will be taking money from my account.but now tuesday i should go to the n=bank and put a stop on my card. i regret not looking up the information beforehand.
I'm on the do not call list! What makes them think I would even speak to them after the kind of harassment they put me through! Their (illegal) autodialer must have some kind of issue, how can targeting me for constant Calls actually result in anything but getting their many numbers blocked?
Highland Health Group has tried to reach me numerous times iver the last week. The message they leave is a recording stating that they are HHG and are calling in regards to my recent inquiry for health insurance. I have never contacted them about anything and definitely not health insurance, I already have health insurance and have had it for many many years. When I try phoning back it is always a recorded message the same each time and it gives you no option to speak to a real person. I am convinced that this is nothing but a scam to get your personal information so they can rip you iff and wirse steal your identity.

He stated he was calling me from Highland Health Insurance based out of Chicago. the gentleman ask me if I had a checking account, and requested for my social security number so he can connect me with a license agent. When I did a reverse phone number lookup the phone number register as a Residential phone number. when the gentleman asked me for my SSN , I made the statement to him , he should already have it on file there. I hung the phone up
