We Purchased a Samsung Gearfit Watch on HH Gregg's website on Cyber Monday. The device is malfunctioning, and will not boot up just keeps saying reboot. We have been in touch with Samsung. They tried to troubleshoot. It will not work. They have told us the serial number is not a valid serial number. They will not do anything for us. It appears this is a counterfeit device bought on HH Gregg's website. I have tried to contact them via email, Facebook and have sent them the copy of their original receipt along with my request for a refund. I have tried to contact their corporate office, and have been on hold for over an hour. HH Gregg needs to make this right and will not contact me. I will be contacting my attorney and launching a full investigation into deceptive sales and practices as well as contacting anyone else who has been wronged by HH Gregg if HH Gregg does not take this device back and give us a refund. I would welcome anyone else who has been wronged by them to write a post. I am willing to file a class action suit against them. This stinks of fraudulent business practices. This is how loyal customers are treated? They are completely ignoring my requests. Do not shop for anything at HH Gregg. You will regret it. I feel we have been scammed.
Cut to chase. bought new tv took it home . took out of box plugged it in did not work. called store said will not take it back becasue original packaging was destroyed . warranty from manufacture wont work they say take it back. warranty product insurance plan i bought said will not work because manufactore deffect. AMEX protection plan said manufacturere defect not covered. no one to help . Called HH Gregg they said they wont help me.
I learned a lesson. read here first before buying. stay awya from these people. And AMEX shame on your for not helping a customer for over 40 years
Purchased sofa (Ashley Furniture MFG) -- within a couple of months sofa mechanism broke -- it's taken over 6 months of continuous phone calls and repairs and sofa is still a piece of junk. No replacement sofa allowed because HH Gregg's 30-day store policy.
Price of this piece of junk was $1,200. Our problem is we still have to pay off balance for something that we cannot use.
H H Gregg, Ocala, FL, manager said sorry about that but store has nothing to do with repairs/replacement. His attitude was ... don't bother us, could care less, call the repair number and good bye --very poor manager. How did he get his job anyway.
