Oregon Employees Credit Union / new name is Heritage Grove Federal Credit Union Salem Oregon
In 2007 when the economy was doing well I decided to purchase a new truck and used a local credit union to finance it. Approx. a year later we decided to purchase a camp trailer for the kids and used the same credit union.
In 2012 our business was no longer producing revenue and I had to work for other employers due to the recession. As an employee I did not make as much money and did get behind on our RV camper payments. To the point of a repossession. However I did continue making my truck payments.
In 2014 I paid off my truck. The credit union said they would mail the title in ten days. I waited 12 days and did not receive it. In 15 days I called the credit union and they said I could pick it up in person. I drove to the credit union. They had me wait in the lobby for approx. 20 minutes. Then they asked me to come inside the office.
They informed me that they would not release the title to my truck until the loan was paid off to the RV camper. I said that was a different loan contract and the lady behind the desk simply simple smiled and said, we still have an interest in the truck because of the camper RV. I said the loan to the truck has been satisfied and paid in full and has nothing to do with RV camper. She said sorry but we will not release the title to your truck.
However they did sell the RV a few years ago plus the payments I did make. And now they want to withhold the title to my truck. Meaning I cannot trade it in or sell it. DMV will not issue a title until the Credit Union releases an interest in my truck. Now I did not mean to fall behind on payments as many Americans lost everything during this time of the recession. However I did honor the note on my truck and paid it off.
So my friends be very careful in who you deal with…This credit union is very evil…..Oregon Employees Credit union and now there new name is Heritage Grove Federal Credit Union Salem Oregon.
