I received and letter on Friday, April 4, 2014 from a company named Heritage Financial Group, stating that I was one of the winners of the International Shoppers Lotto Powerball conducted in North America that was held on January 10, 2014. Winning nymbers where 02-08-12-14-16-01-06. It stated that I was entitled the sum of $125,000 from a total prize money of $3 Million that was to be shared among 24 other declared winners. We were selected through a random computer ballot system drawn from over 50,000 names in USA, Canada, UAE, Ireland adn United Kingdom.
A cashiers check was also included in the envelope for $3,875.00. The letter stated to contact the claim agent before cashing the check at 1-647-272-0248. Once contacted and given my claim number "CHS/M231SC" the individual, who was a man asked for the Check number, waited for a couple of seconds and then came back and said the check was ready to be deposited. He stated to go deposit the check and after it cleared to give him a call back and he would let me know where to send the applicable Govermenet Taxes on the winnings for $1,875.00 US dollars to be paid directly to the tax agent that was assigned to my file.
Once completed the remaining ($121,125.00 US dollars) would be sent via FedEx.
It should be noted that on the letter head listded the following:

It was noted that this was a sponsored program by Wal-Mart Group, K-Mart, HSBC, Costco, Sears, AMEX, Home Depot, BMO, TD Financial, Scotia Bank, President Choice, Target, Lowes, Walgreens, JC Penny, Safeway, HBC and many others.
